The elections for the SRA committee 2009/2010 took place at the Snow Goose Hotel, Adaminaby, on Sunday 19th July.

OFFICE BEARERS

Outgoing President Brian concluded his office with a review of the year. “Your club is on its way, and has the potential to become one of the great aero clubs in the country, providing benefits for members, their families and both the flying and non-flying community.

I’d like to thank everyone, not just committee members, who have worked so hard, in so many ways, often in difficult circumstances, whose efforts in matters large and small have brought your club to where it is today – I’m not going to single out any individual – you know who you are and the members know who you are – we all know you did not put in the efforts you did out of vanity and a desire for personal glory, you put in the effort because you knew you were working for something good and worthwhile - and I know I speak for all of us when I offer my most sincere THANKS. "

The incoming president Allen thanked the members of the outgoing committee for their achievements and he made remarks which showed that he is able to firmly take the reins.

The committee is planning for an interesting and progressive year.
